What happens after I register?

Once you have registered, you can use the mentoring service for up to a year (six months for start-ups) confidential, personalised and independent business mentoring.  

During the 12 months mentoring period, you may use one or more different mentors to assist you - giving you the ability to address multiple business goals.

The initial registration fee entitles you to use the New Zealand Business Mentors service for 12 months  (six months for start-ups) this is the only cost to you, the mentoring you receive from our volunteer mentors is free

To register for a business mentor - please complete the form on our website www.businessmentors.org.nzWe recommend that you use a PC, laptop or tablet for ease of use when completing the registration form.

Once you have completed the form, your registration will be directed to the Mentor Manager nearest the location of your business. 

The Mentor Manager will contact you within 5 working days to discuss your application in detail, then the Mentor Manager will match you with a mentor who is best suited to your specific business circumstances and requirements.

The assigned mentor will contact you within 10 working days to arrange a meeting.

The term of your relationship with a mentor depends on the objectives and goals you jointly agree upon.    

During your mentoring period, your Mentor Manager can be contacted to discuss any change in your circumstances or mentoring requirements.
