We provide mentoring to small and medium enterprise including startup, existing business and the not-for-profit sector. Whether you are a sole trader, starting a new business or have up to 25 FTE’s and would like the support of a mentor, then we can help. 

Business Mentoring Programme

Our Business Mentoring Programme is for owners of SME businesses that are currently trading. Mentors share their knowledge and experience, offer guidance, bring fresh perspectives and act as a sounding board for their clients.

Our Business Mentoring Programme is for business owners who want help to market or grow their business, implement a change in their business, or need a dose of inspiration to help deal with a particular challenge.

Start-up Mentoring Programme

The Start-up mentoring programme is a six month accelerated programme, for people who have a new business idea or are looking for help in starting a new business. 

Mentors with experience in business start-ups offer guidance, act as a sounding board to test the thinking of their Start-up client, and give the critical support you need in the development of a robust business plan.

Registering for a Mentor – The Process

  • Complete the online application form
     
  • The registration/administration fee entitles you to use the Start-up mentoring service for six months and the existing-business service for 12 months – this is the only cost, the mentoring you receive is free!
     
  • Your application is directed to the Mentor Manager nearest the location of your business.
     
  • The Mentor Manager will contact you within 5 working days to discuss your application.
     
  • The Mentor Manager will match you to a Mentor suited to your requirements.
     
  • The mentor will contact you within 10 working days to arrange to meet – the mentor comes to you.
     
  • The term of your relationship with a mentor depends on the objectives and goals you jointly agree upon – at any point you can contact your Mentor Manager for further assistance.
